The journey so far

I’m Zaved Akhtar—currently serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd., and more importantly, a lifelong believer in the power of purposeful leadership. My journey has taken me across global markets and across disciplines—from brand strategy and marketing to sustainable development, digital transformation, and policy advocacy. But no matter the arena, the thread that runs through it all is a deep commitment to driving impact with integrity.

Beyond the boardroom, I’ve had the privilege of speaking at policy forums, mentoring emerging leaders, and contributing to dialogues that shape the future of business and society. I write to reflect, to question, and to engage—with ideas that challenge convention and conversations that move us forward.
